Deniz Iskendarova

Deniz Iskendarova is currently Associate Project Officer at the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), where she covers coordination and outreach of the CTBTO technical flagship initiative “National Data Centres for All”. Until 2022, she was the coordinator of the Vienna Chapter of the International Gender Champions network, supporting gender equality efforts among ambassadors, heads of international organizations and civil societies. A graduate of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, Deniz has also worked at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Honorary Consulate of Italy in Yekaterinburg and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs representation.
