Jay Collins is a Northern Advisor with the North American and Arctic Defence and Security Network (NAADSN), focusing on Arctic security, maritime domain awareness, hybrid threats, strategic competition, and emerging technologies. Her professional background includes senior operational roles with the Canadian Coast Guard and consulting with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime’s Global Maritime Crime Programme. Jay is a graduate of the Joint Command and Staff Programme at the Canadian Forces College and holds a Master of Defence Studies. She is pursuing graduate studies in Arctic security and special operations and irregular warfare.
