Kudakwashe Mapako is an interdisciplinary researcher in law and policy, a consultant for the African Research and Innovation Hub for Nuclear Disarmament Verification Project coordinated by VERTIC, and an external consultant for the African Nuclear Energy Commission (AFCONE). He holds a Master of Laws Degree specializing in International Law from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) Major in International Law (Cum Laude) from Zhejiang Gongshang University. Mapako’s research focuses on international humanitarian law, arms control, nonproliferation, and disarmament
