Phantitra Phuphaphantakarn Profile

Ariel (Phantitra) Phuphaphantakarn is a Policy Fellow at Asia-Pacific Leadership Network (APLN). She holds an MA in Nonproliferation Studies from Middlebury Institute of International Studies, where she studies how U.S.-China strategic behavioural and perception are shaped by AI. Ariel was a Nuclear Scholar (NSI) at the CSIS Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI) and an IAEA Scholar at James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS). Ariel held research fellowships at NEREC-KAIST, CENESS-CTBTO, Pacific Forum, and Oral History Project with Stanley Center and BASIC. She was also OSCE-UNODA Arms Control scholar and served as the very first Chair of Youth4TPNW Policy Working Group. Ariel’s work focuses on states’ behavior and human-machine relations.
